Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of MCP Tutor — the connector you add to your AI assistant and the web dashboard at mcptutor.com. By creating an account, adding the connector, or accepting an invitation from your organisation, you agree to them. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have the authority to bind it.

What MCP Tutor is

MCP Tutor is an AI-literacy training service. It stores curriculum, playbooks and sales-practice scenarios, records each learner’s progress and demonstration attempts, and shows managers how their team is doing. The teaching, conversation and assessment happen inside the AI assistant you connect it to — Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini — under that assistant’s own terms. MCP Tutor runs no AI of its own.

Accounts and organisations

• Every account belongs to one organisation. The person who creates an organisation is its admin; admins invite members and may grant the manager role.
• Sign-in is by one-time code to your email address. Keep your inbox secure and tell us at once if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
• Managers and admins can see the progress and demonstration history of every member of their organisation. By joining an organisation you accept that its managers see your training record.

Plans and billing

• The Free plan is free. The Business plan is billed monthly or annually through Stripe, at the price shown on the pricing page when you subscribe. One Business subscription unlocks team features for the whole organisation.
• You can cancel at any time from the billing portal on your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not refund partial periods.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. A change never applies before your next renewal.

Your content

Lessons, playbooks, sales scripts and other material you or your organisation add to MCP Tutor remain yours. You grant us the licence we need to store it, show it to the members you share it with, and deliver it to your AI assistant when asked. You are responsible for having the right to use what you upload and for keeping it lawful.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• access another organisation’s data, or attempt to;
• probe, scan or overload the service, or work around a plan gate or a rate limit;
• upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share;
• resell or re-host the service, or use it to build a competing curriculum product.

AI assistants and assessments

Your AI assistant does the teaching and grades demonstrations against rubrics we store. Those assessments are the assistant’s judgement, recorded as given; they can be wrong, and they are a training aid, not a certification or a substitute for professional advice. Your use of Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini is governed by Anthropic’s, OpenAI’s or Google’s terms respectively.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep MCP Tutor available and to give notice of planned downtime, but the service is provided “as is” without a guarantee of uptime. We may add, change or retire features; if a change removes something you rely on, you may cancel and we will refund any prepaid period you have not used.

Termination

You can stop using MCP Tutor at any time; an admin can request deletion of the organisation and its data by emailing us. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, after notice where reasonable.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, MCP Tutor is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which MCP Tutor’s operating entity is organised, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or on the dashboard before they take effect, and the date above will change. Continuing to use MCP Tutor after that date means you accept the updated terms.
